This week, I'd like to share with you friends and fans of singers how to remove copyright claims on YouTube cover songs. Cover songs can be requested to be removed if there is a copyright claim on songs that have been played and sung in their own style. Many songs can be requested, but some songs cannot be requested if the original singer has posted to disallow the copyright of his song. Many songs are easy to request this way. It is very useful for those who are angry and difficult because of the copyright claim.
Now let's get started. First, enter YouTube Creator Studio. On the Creator Studio page, click on content on the right side.
Click on the copyright claim that appears next to the song you want to claim and click on See details.
There, click the three dots on the bottom left of the Status overview page.
After clicking on the three dots, click on Dispute.
After clicking on Dispute, the page that appears again says "My dispute isn't based on any of the reasons above. I would still like to dispute this Content ID claim." Check the box and click CONTINUE.
On the Dispute claim page that appears again, click on the black dot in front of the "Copyright exception such as fair use" text and click CONTINUE.
The page that appears again says "I believe my video is protected under fair use, fair dealing, or similar exceptions to copyright." Tick the box and click CONTINUE။
On the last page, click on Select Type and since your song is a cover song, click on the cover song and select it. It is important to select it there.
Then copy and paste the text below into the "Why is your use of the claimed content an example of fair use? (required)" box. It is mandatory.
FAIR-USE COPYRIGHT DISCLAIMER
Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, commenting, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational, or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use.
After
*My video does not infringe anyone's copyright.
*I understand that the claimant will be able to review my video and my dispute rationale.
*I understand that filing fraudulent disputes may result in the termination of my YouTube account.
Check all three lines write your full legal name in capital letters in the Signature (required) field below and click SUBMIT.
After clicking, YouTube will send an email to your email. It will take 30 days. After 30 days, you will receive a reply saying that the copyright claim you requested has been successful (or failed).
Now let's all be comfortable.
